I am pleased to recommend Kelly Redden for employment with your family. Kelly was employed as a research interviewer for the Patterns of Care Project (POC) of the Child and Adolescent Services Research Center from January, 1998 to January, 1999. I served as her supervisor from January 1998 to July 1998.

The purpose of the POC project was to learn more about the mental health needs and service use of children who were enrolled in one or more sectors of the public service system. In Kelly’s position, she interviewed youths (aged 6-18) who had utilized one or more of five public sectors of care during a one-year period (juvenile justice, child welfare, SED programs in public schools, mental health, drug and alcohol programs and their parent or guardian. She displayed diligence and motivation and has gained proficiency in the administration of standardized measures. Her ability to establish rapport with difficult children made her a particularly strong asset to our center. In addition, Kelly worked well with research staff, administrators and study participants. She exhibited efficiency, organizational ability and impressive interpersonal skills in working with sometimes challenging children and families. She stands out among other research interviewers in terms of her excellent interpersonal skills and rapport with families
 

Kelly was always extremely responsible and completed high quality work in a timely fashion. She was always on time for her assignments and dependable. These qualities, combined with her skill in working with children, make her a excellent choice in any position that involves working with children.
